The series of information events for students regarding the internship programme in state institutions finalised today, May 12, at the Academy of Economic Studies, which hosted over 120 students eager to become scholarship holders.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Natalia Gavrilița, together with the programme manager of the Delegation of the European Union in Chisinau, Irina Cruceru, and the EU High Level Adviser on anticorruption, Pawel Wojtunik, shared with students moments from their careers, internship programmes they participated in, but also the steps they followed to reach the positions they currently hold.

Officials encouraged students to become fellows in the programme, gaining practical experience in all public administration processes.

Internships in state institutions will take place thanks to the pilot internship programme launched by the European Union in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Moldova. Students in the third and fourth year (bachelor’s degree), master’s students, as well as recent graduates will be able to do internships for a period of two months, with a paid allowance.
