The interns enrolled in the joint Internship programme of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova met the Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Secretary General of the Government Artur Mija and State Secretary of the Government Ana Calinici, to discuss current issues on the agenda of the country.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean emphasized the importance of the involvement of young people in the modernization of the public service and the development of the Republic of Moldova, appreciating their determination to bring positive changes.
“Only through joint efforts can we build resilient institutions, fair justice and a strong economy, essentially – a better life for all the people of this country. You are the future of our country and I trust that, together, we will build a European Moldova”, said the Head of Government.
In total, 111 young people participate in the two internship programmes running simultaneously: one financed by the European Union and the other one financed from the state budget, working in state institutions like ministries, the State Chancellery, the Parliament, the Presidential Administration, the National Bank of Moldova, the National Anticorruption Centre and other public authorities.
