Yesterday, the young people enrolled in the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova had the opportunity to participate in informative sessions on public administration reform and prudential supervision in the financial services sector.

Victor Giosan, EU High Level Adviser on Public Administration Reform, spoke about the challenges and changes in a turbulent political period, giving the interns a valuable perspective on how public administration can navigate during political instability. And Nicolae Grigore, EU High Level Adviser on financial services, made a presentation on the banks’ attributions regarding the assessment and control of the risk, capital and liquidity management practices in order to prevent bankruptcy or destabilization of the financial system.

Throughout the internship program, in addition to the work in which they are involved on a daily basis, the interns participate in a series of seminars with the aim of strengthening theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
