About 30 practitioners from the judicial system and law enforcement institutions, as well as from the fields of taxation and prevention of money laundering, joined efforts to discuss the assessment of training needs in the field of blockchain investigations. The training needs assessment meeting was organised jointly by the Ministry of Justice and EU High Level Advisers’ Mission.

The event is a preparatory step for the organization of a seminar on this topic, aimed at building the skills needed for blockchain related investigations.

The request for such training was received from several institutions, and the future seminar will be held in an inter-institutional format. The expert who will carry out the training had an exchange of opinions with the practitioners to articulate the content of the seminar in such a way that the issues specific to the Republic of Moldova are addressed comprehensively.

The seminar is envisaged to take place later this month; please follow web site announcements in this regard.
