The interns taking part in the joint EU – Government of Moldova Internship Programme attended today, 27 July, in an informative session about the role and responsibilities of the State Chancellery, and the process of drafting normative acts – the way from a concept to a law.
Irina Cruceru, Programme Manager within the Delegation of the European Union, opened the event, greeting the participants and underlining that such joint events on various topics of the public administration are very useful for the interns, and more such events are underway.
Artur Mija, Secretary General of the Government, engaged in an open discussion with the young people, answering all their queries about the functioning of the State Chancellery and various other topics related to the Governmental activity.
Furtermore, Irina Alexe, Strategic Planning Expert within the EU High Level Advisers’ Mission, made a presentation about the process of drafting of normative acts and how state institutions turn an idea or concept into a law.
The interns had the possibility to share their impressions on the activities carried out so far in the Internship Programme, as well as provide suggestions on future actions to be organised. Similar sessions are scheduled to take place in the near future, with the aim of making the Internship Programme as practical and useful for the young people as possible.
