Mr Victor Wili Apreutesei has joined the EU High Level Advisers Mission team.

The new HLA will provide advice on Internal Security to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Wili has almost 20 of experience in internal affairs, and he previously served as Deputy Director of the Romanian General Police Inspectorate. He has a master’s degree in Security studies from the Bucharest University, and one in Security and National Defense from the National Defence University ‘Carol I’.

His assignment within the Ministry of Internal Affairs includes the review of relevant strategic policy documents, provision of policy recommendations and guidance on the implementation of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement and the related Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area in order to enhance the beneficiary institution’s ability to design and implement their related reform agenda.

With the recently joined member, the team currently serving in the country amounts to twelve EU High Level Advisers: on Anti-Money Laundering and Asset Recovery, Anticorruption, Confidence Building Measures, Customs and Tax Policy (Domestic Revenue Mobilisation), Education and Research, Energy, Financial Services, Green Transition, Justice and Prosecution, Local Public Administration Reform, including Decentralization and Voluntary Amalgamation, and Strategic Coordination and European Affairs.
