A working meeting chaired by Prime-Minister Pavel Filip and H.E. Ambassador of the Euroepan Union to Moldova Pirkka Tapiola with the EU High-Level Advisers took part on 22 July, with the aim of taking stock of reforms implementation as per the EU – RM Association Agreement provisions.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prime-Minister Filip expressed his appreciation for High-Level Advisers’ active participation in reforms implementation, mentioning in this respect the necessity to have open discussions regarding Advisers’ vision on identified problems in their respective institutions and suggestions for improvements.

In his turn, Ambassador Tapiola encouraged the Government to continue active implementation of reforms, reiterating the support for measures aimed for country development.

Discussions included reforms launched by the Government, visions and suggestions of EU High-Level Advisers regarding their good implementation, as well as fulfillment of commitments made in this respect. EU Advisers listed a series of recommendations regarding specific measures for the stabilization of situation in various sectors, both for short-, as well as for long-term.
