The next information session for interns enrolled in the Joint Internship Program of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova took place yesterday, August 10, and focused on current topics in the field of energy: the security of energy supply, the energy market, the promotion of energy efficiency and of renewable energy sources.
Minister Victor Parlicov engaged in an interactive discussion with the interns: “The energy sector is the sector that will generate a lot of transformation in the coming years, a transformation on a scale that we have not seen until now. I invite you all to be part of this process, a transformation that is not so much about technologies, but about mentalities and paradigms”, was the message of the Minister of Energy for the youth.
In the second part of the session, the EU High Level Adviser on energy, Alexandru Săndulescu, familiarized the young people with the processes taking place on the energy market, answering questions related to the subject.
The informative sessions for interns will continue in the coming weeks with other relevant topics.
The internship programme in state institutions is a joint initiative of the European Union and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, offering young people the chance to spend two months working side by side with civil servants and being guided by the EU High Level Advisers. The young people receive a monthly scholarship, the Program being fully financed by the European Union.
